2　Prefabrication Production of CRTS ⅡTrack Slab

2.1　Basic Structural Requirement for Track Slab Yard

To take the Qihe No.2 track slab yard（Figure 5）as an example，which belongs to the second tender section of civil works for Beijing-Shanghai high speed railway constructed by China Railway First Group Co.，Ltd.，the basic structure of track slab yard includes eight parts，i.e.office and living area，concrete batching plant，rebar processing area，prefabrication production yard，semi-finished product（semi-manufactured slab）storage area，polishing workshop，finished slab storage area and productive function area.The productive function area includes office and living area，laboratory and material transportation corridor，which is not included in the shared land occupation for the slab yard.The track slab yard occupies about 75mu（1mu≈666.67m2）.

This track slab yard undertakes the prefabrication production task for total 18050 pieces of CRTS Ⅱtrack slabs，the total length is 59.21 km（double line）within the second tender section DK326+192～DK385+400 of Beijing-Shanghai high speed railway.Based on the already known production task of track slab and the construction period，two long-line pedestal production lines were installed in the prefabrication workshop，28 sets of formworks were installed for each production line，calculated as 25 days/month，then the designed production capacity is about 1360 slabs/month.
